POWER TRANSFORMERS.HERMETIC TRANSFORMERS.
These systems that are referred to as completely sealed systems are different from the types with oil expansion tanks because the transformer oil is completely sealed from the external environment. The advantages of these type of transformer is that the operational life of the oil that does not come into contact with the external environmental humidity is increased. As it is well known; the oil used in transformers with oil expansion tanks must be tested for humidity once every two years.

As the transformer heats up, the quantity of oil within it increases. The suitable environment for storing such expansions in the quantity of oil are the cylindrical tanks that have dimensions in appliance with project calculations. Due to the fact that these types of transformers are subject to external environmental conditions, the humidity of their oil must be continuously checked and the necessary oil drying procedures must be conducted when necessary.

NUVE, The Nucleus is manufactured with high quality cold drawn siliceous sheet metal. The width of the sheet metal is determined by the power output of the transformer to be produced and the quality of the sheet metal or its magnetic conductivity is expressed in Gauss units.
Our company uses sheet metal produced in western Europe that has high levels of magnetic conductivity. The sheet metal that arrives at our factory is accepted after the approval of our quality control department. The sheet metal is later cut into the dimensions required by the project in accordance with requirements of the power and voltage of the transformers being produced and are later subjected to the nucleus arranging process.
SELENOIDS.WINDINGS; AG COIL and YG COIL.
This section referred to as the solenoid or the coil is comprised of 2 main pieces.
1) AG COIL: this copper coil with varying dimensions is sometimes spun with flat copper or copper tape in accordance with technological innovations. The aluminum or copper materials that are spun are in direct contact with the AG bushings. The transformer output voltage and power are created on these coils.
2) YG COIL: these coils are spun over the AG Coils with round isolated copper wire in dimensions between 0,3 mm – 3,00 mm as needed by the power and voltage of the transformers. Various isolation materials are installed between this coil to attain isolation and cooling.
Furthermore, the commutator connection flanges are fixed in positions on the coil suitable for the project and can deactivate certain sections of the coil.
